Photography in the great outdoors of Sydney
Monday, August 15th, 2011 by KapaIn case you haven’t guessed it, I love Sydney. When I get asked for studio photography, I usually ask why. Sydney has beautiful weather, and the outdoors is perfect to photograph in natural light. The first photograph was taken in a local park in Sydney, as you can see, it could have even been taken in a back yard. In my option, what’s important is the natural light, and a photograph that doesn’t look manufactured. I appreciate that some people like studio photography, I suggest you leave that for the corporate head-shots and keep the family portraits in the park.
.
I rotated 180 degrees from where the previous photograph was taken, and got this family portrait overlooking George’s River in the St George region of Sydney.
If you’re a parent, imagine having three children under five in a studio & trying to get natural & relaxed photographs. I think the photographs speak for themselves.
